ONE PIECE Chapter 1115 Confirmed Spoilers!
In the previous chapter, we saw the actual Mother Flame that Vegapunk created, and Vegapunk finally began to delve into the Void Century and Joy Boy. In this article, I’ll be discussing the confirmed spoilers for Chapter 1115 along with some analysis!
The Significance of the Poneglyphs
In ONE PIECE Chapter 1115, the world’s reaction to Vegapunk’s message is depicted from the very start, and it seems to revolve around the initial pirate, “Joy Boy.” Just as in the real world, pirates in the world of ONE PIECE are considered villains who threaten the livelihood of the people, and the concept of the first pirate might lead some to curse Joy Boy for being the reason pirates now run rampant across the seas.
On the other hand, pirates might be extremely curious about what kind of person the original pirate was. Before talking about what Joy Boy did, Vegapunk mentions the significance of the Poneglyphs. He explains that the Poneglyphs scattered around the world are historical records of the great war that took place during the Void Century. Although Roger referred to the Poneglyphs as “historical relics,” they were generally recognized as such by the public.
However, most people had no idea when the Poneglyphs were created or what was inscribed on them. Now, the world will begin to understand the timeline and contents of these relics. For those who weren’t even aware of the existence of the Void Century, this revelation might not resonate deeply, but it could cause some to start questioning why the World Government banned research on the Poneglyphs.
Ohara was destroyed on the pretext that it was plotting to revive the Ancient Weapons and destroy the world. Still, the fact that a great war took place during the Void Century, where the Ancient Weapons were likely used, might lead people to think that the World Government wanted to hide that fact.
If the Poneglyphs were just historical relics with nothing incriminating against the current government, there would be no need to hide them. As a result, people around the world might begin to harbor doubts about the World Government—or rather, the Celestial Dragons—on top of their existing anger and resentment.
Additionally, Vegapunk will reveal how the world came to be in its current state.
