ONE PIECE Chapter 1120 Review and Analysis | Professor Clover Was Also a D!
ONE PIECE Chapter 1120 begins with a flashback scene of a conversation between Vegapunk and Professor Clover on Punk Hazard 26 years ago. Professor Clover asked Vegapunk to join him in researching the Void Century, but Vegapunk, being employed by the government, refused. Professor Clover became angry, declaring, “My brother had the name of D, and I too am a D. How can people be killed just for bearing that name?!”
This completely exposed the despicable nature of the World Government, but at this point, Vegapunk remained a bystander. Later, learning of Professor Clover’s death, Vegapunk’s heart gradually began to change. Vegapunk’s broadcast continues.
The scene shifts back to the Thousand Sunny attempting to escape. Vegapunk Evil (Lilith) tries to stop the crew, saying that if they take off now, there’s no guarantee of a successful escape. However…! Vegapunk Violence (Atlas) attacks Evil (Lilith), disabling her.
