The Reason Behind the Strength of Imu-Sama and the FIVE ELDERS | The “Long Battle”
The “Long Battle”
Saint Ethanbaron V. Nasujuro mentioned that if they could fully control the power of the Mother Flame, the “Long Battle” would come to an end. If they’ve been fighting something, this phrase could be a significant hint.
I’ve previously speculated that they might be battling space pirates or that the war from the Void Century is still ongoing. Both possibilities seem plausible.
While the Marines have been handling pirates and the Revolutionary Army, it’s hard to believe that the Celestial Dragons have been doing nothing during this time. If they’ve been fighting something, it’s likely that the information hasn’t been made public, possibly because the enemy itself is considered taboo.
Furthermore, if this battle took place on the Red Line, it might explain why there’s little information circulating about it…
Given that there’s hardly any mention of what’s on the Red Line, it’s possible that enemies reside there or attack from that location.
However, if that’s the case, it would be hard to keep it a secret from the Marines or CP (Cipher Pol)…
Without an enemy, the Celestial Dragons wouldn’t need to fight, nor would they gain combat experience. So, the fact that they have such experience suggests that there must be an enemy, though it remains unidentified at this time.
If there is an enemy, it’s likely one that neither the Marines nor CP can handle alone, which implies it’s an external threat rather than an internal one.
If that’s the case, could the enemy come from another world? Not another dimension, but rather space or the depths of the earth, given that no clear enemies are found on Sky Islands or the seafloor.
If the Celestial Dragons have been fighting invaders from space or another world, it would likely be for the sake of preserving their own dominion, not for the good of humanity.
Moreover, if they’ve managed to continue this battle without making the enemy’s existence public, it seems increasingly likely that the enemy resides underground…
