Is Imu-Sama Controlled by the Desire to Control? | Unable to Live Alone?
Unable to Live Alone?
If Imu-sama is aiming to become a true god…
Assuming they’re striving to be the one and only absolute god, an omniscient and omnipotent being wouldn’t need others.
However, since Imu-sama relies on the FIVE ELDERS as their agents and has people to take care of them, they’re clearly not ruling the world alone, making them just an ordinary person.
Luffy once declared, “I can’t live on my own,” and from his definition of the Pirate King, it seems like his words outright deny the existence of someone like Imu-sama.
Luffy and Imu-sama seem to be polar opposites, but is Imu-sama truly satisfied with their current self and position?
Do they intend to live in this isolated state forever?
If Imu-sama is indeed controlled by their desire to control the world, perhaps when Luffy, as Nika, eventually fights and defeats Imu-sama, Nika might become the one to free even Imu-sama from their own control…
As I’ve written before, Imu-sama seems to view humanity through the lens of the belief that humans are inherently evil, and they may be trying to maintain strict “peace” by becoming the one absolute god and the law itself.
However, I still believe it’s impossible for a single person to continue ruling the entire world indefinitely.
It seems to me that Imu-sama’s desire for Vivi stems from a sense of loneliness…
There must be a reason why Imu-sama developed the ideology that led to the current world, but will we ever learn that story?
That concludes this article. Thank you very much for reading!
