Is Saint Topman Valkyrie from the Lulusia Kingdom? | Lulusia Kingdom and Sealing Powers
Lulusia Kingdom and Sealing Powers
I’ve previously suggested that the Lulusia Kingdom might be modeled after Romania, given the sound of its name and the fact that its princess is named Comane, likely derived from the famous gymnast Nadia Comăneci. The Lulusia Kingdom’s King Sekki might also be a reference to the Szekler people of Romania, further solidifying this connection.
If Valkyrie is indeed connected to the Lulusia Kingdom, there might be a link between his sealing powers and the kingdom’s origins. Romania is known for its rich folklore, including stories of vampires like Dracula. Given that the name “Valkyrie” evokes both the mythological Norse warriors and the legendary Romanian figure Vlad the Impaler, who inspired Dracula, there’s a thematic resonance with immortality and sealing powers.
The sealing powers might be tied to the Zoan-type Mythical Zoan model of the Pig-Pig Fruit, Model: Sealing Boar. While this is the first time we’ve seen such a power, it might seem an odd choice for a Mythical Zoan fruit. However, if Valkyrie’s origins are linked to Romania, a country with deep ties to the Dracula legend, this could explain the choice of a pig-based Mythical Zoan.
Dracula, traditionally depicted as nearly immortal, also has ties to the Szekler people. Given this, it’s possible that the Five Elders’ seemingly immortal bodies and the fact that Saturn appears unchanged from 38 years ago might have connections to such folklore.
