The Connection Between the Ancient Giants and the Ancient Robot | Were the Ancient Giants on the Side of the First 20?

Were the Ancient Giants on the Side of the First 20?

One possible reason for the Ancient Robot’s enormous size is that its enemies were also massive. The most likely candidate for these enemies would be the Ancient Giants. The combat abilities of the Ancient Giants have been partially demonstrated by the zombie of Oars and his descendant, Little Oars Jr. Even the failed Numbers were around 30 meters tall, and size does indeed equate to strength.

While a true human powerhouse could probably take them down with a single strike, Oars Jr. and the Numbers likely represent a degenerated form of the Ancient Giants. It’s likely that 900 to 800 years ago, the Ancient Giants were much stronger and more numerous. Such formidable foes would necessitate the creation of equally large and powerful robotic weapons.

If the Ancient Giants were indeed significantly stronger in ancient times, then the Ancient Robot’s combat capabilities would have been designed to match or exceed theirs. Therefore, the Ancient Robot must have been incredibly powerful.

Saint Saturn, in his human-beast form, was blown away by Kuma’s strike, and although he regenerated, he still suffered significant damage. If the Ancient Robot were to strike him, it could potentially knock him off the island and into the sea. Personally, I believe the Five Elders might be knocked into the sea by the Ancient Robot. Such power would be necessary to fight the Ancient Giants on equal terms.
However, if the Ancient Giants were on the side of the First 20, what was their reason for joining them?
