Predictions for ONE PIECE Chapter 1114 and beyond! In the previous chapter, we saw the Five Elders preparing to eliminate all inconvenient elements at Egghead while Vegapunk began his message, predicting the world’s sinking. In this article, I’ll share my predictions for the developments in Chapter 1114 and beyond.
How Will the World React to the Sinking Prophecy?
Vegapunk prefaced his message by saying it might sound absurd and could be laughed off. However, he began by revealing the “conclusion” of the truth he wanted to convey to the world. Normally, a conclusion should be the last thing discussed, but Vegapunk likely anticipated interference and decided that the most important, must-know information should be stated upfront.
The conclusion, “The world will sink into the sea,” was a shocking statement. Reactions like “What? What is he talking about?” are already appearing, but how will the world at large react to Vegapunk’s prophecy?
If something similar happened in the real world, people would likely find it hard to believe—or more accurately, they wouldn’t want to believe it. However, one thing is certain: regardless of whether they believe it or not, they will be curious about the reason behind it.
People might not believe it immediately, but they’ll want to know if there’s any possibility of it being true. No one can outright dismiss the possibility of the world sinking into the sea. Whether people believe it or not will depend on how plausible it seems, which in turn depends on the reason and evidence presented.
The reason Vegapunk started with the conclusion was likely to capture people’s attention and make them curious about the reasons and evidence he would reveal in his subsequent explanations. The truth of the world’s sinking is likely to be found within the historical truths he plans to discuss. Vegapunk probably doesn’t expect everyone to believe his message, but he does expect that people will be more focused and eager to hear what he has to say.
This is something they absolutely must hear…! A sentiment that will likely spread worldwide, which means the Five Elders will be even more desperate to destroy the transmission device to discredit Vegapunk’s message as mere nonsense.
