Do Imu and the Five Elders Desire the World’s Submersion!? What Is the Purpose of the Three Ancient Weapons?

Vegapunk’s prophecy of the world’s submersion… from the tone of his statement, which seems more like a declaration, it feels like an unavoidable fate. What stance do Imu and the Five Elders have on this? Let’s dive into that in this article!

Do the ‘Gods’ Desire the World’s Submersion?

Vegapunk mentioned ‘world submersion’ as the ‘conclusion’ of the truth about the world in his message. As I’ve written in previous analyses, it seems like Vegapunk is declaring this as an unavoidable fate. It’s hard to imagine that Imu and the Five Elders are unaware of this fate, especially considering, as I’ve pointed out before, that they’ve built the Holy Land of Mary Geoise on top of the Red Line—a highland that seems safe from such an event.

The World Government likely doesn’t allow anyone other than the Celestial Dragons to reside on the Red Line, given that there’s never been any mention of other nations existing on that vast stretch of land. Moreover, we’ve never seen anything on top of the Red Line except for Mary Geoise. Realistically, the only ways to see the top of the Red Line would be through official routes, climbing it manually, or flying—options available to only a few.

Even if someone were to climb the Red Line through official routes, their movement would likely be heavily restricted. The reason Imu and the others built Mary Geoise atop the Red Line was to elevate it as a world for gods—a heaven, so to speak—allowing them to monopolize it. This likely means that they have no intention of allowing humanity to reside atop the Red Line.

If Imu and the others know about the world’s submersion and have been preparing for it, then it seems they’re planning to abandon the rest of humanity. They might aim to create a world tailored solely for the Celestial Dragons, where only a select number of obedient humans are kept as slaves, strictly controlled and ruled over with overwhelming military power. They might see the world’s submersion as a convenient event to create this ideal world—one free of unnecessary elements. However, some species would survive even in a submerged world…
