Why Is Imu Silent About Vegapunk’s Message? | Joy Boy’s Ideology?
Joy Boy’s Ideology?
What the World Government truly wishes to conceal, what they most want to keep from the world, is likely the ideology of the Great Kingdom. Both Dr. Clover and Vegapunk have hinted at this, suggesting that the Void Century exists to suppress this ideology from spreading. That ideology is probably Joy Boy’s, and it could be the same as—or even grander than—Roger and Luffy’s “final dream.”
This ideology might have nearly come to fruition during the Void Century but was ultimately never realized. What Imu and the World Government fear most is likely not the use of force, but the spread of this ideology, which could spark a revolution in the hearts of people—a true progression of humanity.
Even if force can be used to suppress a physical rebellion, it’s much harder to suppress a change in people’s hearts. Just as no one can suppress the desire for freedom, no one can command others to stop dreaming or thinking. This applies to the scholars of Ohara, to Vegapunk, and to Luffy and the Straw Hat crew.
If such an ideology were to spread, it might lead to a revolution that even the Ancient Weapons couldn’t stop. Luffy and Teach both embody the belief that nothing is impossible, both in their words and actions. Perhaps Imu sees this and understands the danger they pose. If Vegapunk’s message touches upon this ideology, it might even shake Imu.
That concludes this article. Thank you very much for reading!
