Will Imu-sama Stop Vegapunk’s Message with Butterflies? | One Piece Chapter 1116 Analysis

Will Imu-sama Stop Vegapunk’s Message with Butterflies? | The ‘God’ Who Controls the World Section Heading: The ‘God’ Who Controls the World

Imu-sama has kept their existence hidden, likely because it contradicts the World Government’s ideology of not having a single king. But I believe that’s not the only reason…

Imu-sama seems to have a strong desire to avoid involvement with the public as much as possible. As I mentioned earlier, it appears Imu-sama doesn’t trust humans. If that’s the case, they would naturally want to avoid involvement…

However, the current state of the world reflects Imu-sama’s will, which seems to imply that without Imu-sama, the world as it is wouldn’t exist. Given Imu-sama’s close connection to the Five Elders, who call them the ‘Creator,’ it’s fair to say that Imu-sama is the closest thing to a god in this world.

Gods do not reveal themselves to the public, but their will is expressed through natural phenomena, which people interpret as divine blessings or wrath… Although people can’t say for certain whether gods exist, they fear the possibility that they might.

The Celestial Dragons currently claim to be gods, but no one on Earth really believes they are true gods… However, if people were to become certain of the existence of a real god, they would likely fear that god and wouldn’t dare to oppose them…

Perhaps Imu-sama will not claim to be a Celestial Dragon or Saint Nerona Imu, but rather present themselves as a god that truly exists in this world. And maybe, just maybe, the ongoing events at Egghead could be the timing for that revelation…

In Greek mythology, butterflies are seen as divine messengers or guides for souls. Perhaps Imu-sama’s butterflies will deliver Imu-sama’s message, negating Vegapunk’s broadcast with the voice of ‘God’ resounding throughout the world. I’m beginning to consider that possibility!

In the next section, I’ll write my predictions for Chapter 1116 and beyond!
