Did Joy Boy Entrust Pluton to Wano Country? | Is the Day of Opening the Borders the Promised Day?
Is the Day of Opening the Borders the Promised Day?
Sukiyaki-sama mentioned that opening the borders of Wano is synonymous with the revival of Pluton, and it feels like that day is fast approaching. While Wano seems to be well on its way to recovery, opening the borders would likely lead to its collapse.
However, I believe only Pluton can destroy Uranus, which means Wano may have to sacrifice everything it has built over the centuries to save the world from the fate of being submerged again.
This may also apply to Fish-Man Island. Madame Shyarly foresaw that a man wearing a straw hat would destroy Fish-Man Island, and the giant ship Noah, meant for the Promised Day, is there as well.
Like Wano, Fish-Man Island might also be destroyed as a result of activating the ancient weapons. Personally, I believe the day Wano opens its borders and the Promised Day for Fish-Man Island are linked and will occur simultaneously.
Both events seem to be part of preventing the world from sinking again, something that didn’t happen during the Void Century. This might have been part of Joy Boy’s or the Great Kingdom’s will. However, I believe that as long as the ancient weapons exist in this world, the fate of destruction cannot be averted. For some reason, the time for this to succeed is now, in the present.
In a sense, Joy Boy and the Great Kingdom, like Roger and his crew, may have been “too early.”
The issue may not have been with Joy Boy and his forces or the original 20 kingdoms, but rather that humanity as a whole was not yet ready to bring about the change needed to transform the world.
It seems that Joy Boy and his allies were defeated because humanity had not yet matured enough to accomplish the transformation. The opening of Wano and the Promised Day for Fish-Man Island may be the day humanity, having grown stronger and wiser than it was during the Void Century, begins to shed its old ideas and build a new world.
That concludes this article. Thank you very much for reading!
