Does Saint Nasujuro Know About the Kitetsu and Kotetsu Swords? | Could Nasujuro Be Kitetsu?
Could Nasujuro Be Kitetsu?
Given the points discussed earlier, it’s plausible that Nasujuro could be the legendary swordsmith Kitetsu or Kotetsu. In Wano, many swordsmiths are also skilled swordsmen, and it would make sense for them to forge swords that suit their own fighting style. If Nasujuro is indeed Kitetsu, then he would naturally be the most adept at wielding the Shodai Kitetsu.
Nasujuro’s white clothing might be reminiscent of the traditional attire of a swordsmith, and his appearance and demeanor seem to align with the image of a figure named “Kitetsu.”
This is, of course, speculative, but if Nasujuro is indeed Kitetsu, it would explain why he wields the Shodai Kitetsu and why it is considered a cursed blade. If he possesses supernatural abilities, they might have influenced the swords he forged, resulting in the creation of the cursed Kitetsu blades.
The Hitetsu line, including Kotetsu and Tenguyama Hitetsu, would then be descendants or successors of Nasujuro’s techniques. The limited number of Kitetsu swords and their taboo status in Wano might also stem from a legend that Kitetsu betrayed Wano, leading to their marginalization.
At the very least, Nasujuro seems deeply connected to Wano’s history, and if so, he might even have known Ryuma directly. The similarities between Zoro and Ryuma, combined with Nasujuro’s potential knowledge of Wano’s ancient past, could reveal much about Zoro’s true heritage and the mysteries of Wano.
Among the Gorosei, Nasujuro appears to be the most mysterious and possibly the strongest, and his connection to Wano’s history and the Moon clans, as well as the secrets of Pluton, will be fascinating to explore further.
I’m eagerly anticipating what Nasujuro will reveal during his fight with Zoro!
That concludes this article. Thank you very much for reading to the end!
