Was the Submersion of the World During the Void Century Imu-sama’s Will? Was the Submersion Imu-sama’s Will?

Was the Submersion Imu-sama’s Will?

Imu-sama seems to have reigned as the de facto ruler and absolute authority of the world since the Void Century. If Imu-sama was the leader of the original Twenty during that time, did she decide on the submersion of the world? When Imu-sama caused the destruction of the Kingdom of Lulusia, the Five Elders warned of the potential loss of many lives.

However, Imu-sama said, “I don’t care.” If she had previously submerged the world, it wouldn’t be surprising if she considered submerging a single country, or even raising the sea level, as a trivial matter.

Based on that statement, I believe it’s highly likely that the submersion of the world was Imu-sama’s will. However, wouldn’t a normal human hesitate to do such a thing? Something seems to be off…

In the world of ONE PIECE, some Celestial Dragons and nobles fundamentally do not treat the people as humans, openly calling them insects or trash. What is the root of this outrageous perception?

It’s an extreme elitism—a truly god-like perspective looking down on the people. I think this attitude existed even during the Void Century, which led to the birth of the Great Kingdom’s ideology and the subsequent conflict.

Imu-sama seems like a special “monster” both physically and mentally, but perhaps even the Five Elders don’t fully understand her true nature… Could she be something like an alien being from a planet other than the Blue Planet?

That concludes the introduction in this article. Thank you very much for reading through to the end!
