Historically a Rival Relationship with the Monkey Family?
If the Figarland Family is a lineage that has continuously produced exceptional individuals like Shanks, it seems to share a commonality with the Monkey Family…
The Monkey Family has produced remarkable individuals over three generations: Garp, the naval hero, Dragon, the revolutionary, and Luffy, the Straw Hat and Yonko. Interestingly, Garp became known as a hero on the same stage where Saint Garling gained hero status, during the God Valley incident, indicating an intriguing connection or rivalry between the Figarland and Monkey Families.
This connection might suggest that the Figarland Family and the Monkey Family have been rivals dating back to the Void Century, or even earlier. While centuries have passed and the Void Century is sealed, in modern times, it is unlikely that both families carry such a legacy. However, since the D opposed the first 20, the Monkey Family likely fought against the first 20, making it plausible that the ancestors of the Figarland and Monkey Families were rivals and the ace forces of their respective factions…
Despite the defeat, many families bearing the D name have survived, which personally raises questions. Perhaps the fact that the D has forgotten its meaning is involved, and the Celestial Dragons fear what might happen if they try to annihilate them recklessly, with a sense of “let sleeping dogs lie”…
Considering this, as I previously wrote, the original royal family of the Monkey Family’s homeland, the Goa Kingdom, might have been the Figarland Family. The Figarland Family might have been exiled by the Monkey Family, experiencing something similar…
The first 20 were kings of various countries, and not a few might have been ousted by revolutions in their countries. If Im-sama united these kings for revenge, it would explain why the Five Elders revere Im-sama as a deity…
If such events occurred worldwide, and the first 20 ultimately won, it would justify the harsh caste system in the Goa Kingdom. Additionally, if the Figarland Family was the royal family of the Goa Kingdom, it wouldn’t be a coincidence that Shanks based himself in Foosha Village, part of the Goa Kingdom in the East Blue…
The Goa Kingdom might be a significant country, and it might not be a coincidence that Shanks met Luffy there…
