Is Emeth Powered by Haki? | Technology that Uses Haki as a Power Source?

Technology that Uses Haki as a Power Source?

Haki is known to be an immense source of energy, but it cannot be used to power machines directly. However, if it could, it would be a super energy source surpassing even the Mother Flame…

Vegapunk hasn’t been able to achieve this, but if Emeth is powered by Haki, the reason he stopped after attacking the Holy Land Mariejois 200 years ago might be because he deemed it wasn’t the right “time” to use Haki wastefully.

The theory that Joy Boy sealed his Haki in Emeth to provide energy could suggest that during their final meeting, Joy Boy gave Emeth more Haki than usual, which Emeth conserved.

Emeth also demonstrated incredible durability when he broke Saint Valkyrie’s fangs, which might be attributed to the use of Haki. If so, Emeth likely has some means to accumulate Haki, and I speculate that it could be a Poneglyph.

Poneglyphs are indestructible stones with inscriptions that can only be carved by the Kozuki Clan. Roger heard voices from them…

I previously wrote that Poneglyphs might be regular stones hardened by powerful Haki. Perhaps they are unique stones that can seal Haki.

If Poneglyphs function as batteries for Haki, they might have roles beyond historical texts. If Emeth has a Poneglyph acting as a Haki battery inside, it could regulate Haki by switching it on or off.

Emeth seemed to awaken in response to Luffy’s Drums of Liberation, possibly due to receiving the Conqueror’s Haki emitted alongside it, which might have triggered Emeth’s internal systems.

While it may seem far-fetched to connect everything to Poneglyphs, they do serve as evidence of advanced civilization.
