Did Joy Boy Send Emet to the Future? | Was it Joy Boy’s Order?

Was it Joy Boy’s Order?

I have written before that Emet could serve as evidence of an advanced civilization existing during the Void Century. Many modern people are likely skeptical and dismiss Vegapunk’s message video as lies or delusions. However, the dating results clearly show that Emet was created 900 years ago. Given that numbers prove it, people cannot dismiss it. Emet can serve as evidence.

In a sense, Emet becomes a presence akin to a Poneglyph. Joy Boy might have instructed Lady Toki to send Emet to the future with this in mind. Emet seems to have been given a role by Joy Boy as a contingency plan. If this implies a task in the future, then the possibility of time travel is high.

However, Lady Toki, the only one capable of such time travel, appeared alone when she met Lord Oden. Her repeated time jumps were due to being cornered. If Emet had been with her, she might not have faced such situations. The fact that Emet could have been spotted by someone throughout various eras could also seem contradictory.

Moreover, the Toki Toki no Mi allows time travel but does not allow the selection of a specific location, which is another inconsistency. If Mary Geoise was built on what used to be the capital or part of the Great Kingdom, Emet’s sudden appearance wouldn’t be strange. Yet, unless Emet was deliberately sent to the era 200 years ago, this theory doesn’t hold.

If Emet was sent to the future on Joy Boy’s orders, there might be a reason for choosing the period 200 years ago. What significance did the time 200 years ago have? If 200 years was specified, it must hold some significance. The only globally noted event 200 years ago is the Ryugu Kingdom’s joining of the World Government on Fish-Man Island. Could that be connected?
