Is Lord Connected to Prince Loki? | Royalty of the Warrior Nation Elbaf?
Royalty of the Warrior Nation Elbaf?
We know Elbaf has a prince named Loki, so it’s confirmed that Elbaf is a kingdom, meaning there must be a ruling class of nobility. Lord, whose attire and background seem markedly different from Hajrudin and the others, could very well belong to that noble class.
This is purely my intuition, but I also believe Hawkins, who was last seen defeated by Killer in Wano and presumed dead, seems to come from a privileged background, possibly even royalty. There’s a certain similarity in the roles Hawkins played in the early Wano Arc and Lord’s current situation.
Both characters seem to have an air of superiority and tend to look down on those they consider weaker. This overconfidence is a trait often associated with nobles.
Hawkins learned a harsh lesson about real strength during the Wano Arc, and I suspect Lord, who completely underestimates Luffy and his crew, will experience a similar awakening. This lack of understanding about true strength is another trait that often marks members of the aristocracy.
If Lord is indeed from the royal family, we’d have to wonder why he decided to follow Hajrudin on such a dangerous journey at sea. I think the answer lies in dissatisfaction with the kingdom of Elbaf itself. An otaku character like Lord may not have fit in or felt content in the rough, warrior-driven environment of Elbaf.
Additionally, if Lord is royalty, it raises interesting questions about his connection to Prince Loki…
