Why Were the First to Arrive at Elbaf the East Blue Five? Will Vivi Be Involved?
In ONE PIECE Chapter 1127, we see that Luffy and his crew have already landed on Elbaf.
But when we look at the members present, they’re the same crew members from the East Blue arc…
Is there a specific reason for this?
Let’s dive into this topic!
A Familiar Group from the Past
Luffy and his crew have been brought to a Lego-like castle by someone, and ONE PIECE Chapter 1127 reveals that the members present are Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, and Usopp.
This is the same group that formed the Straw Hat Pirates during the East Blue arc…
It feels like there’s a deeper meaning behind this lineup.
Jinbe and the others aboard the Great Eirik seem to be meeting Dorry and Brogy for the first time, and they’re likely sharing stories about Luffy’s adventures that the two giants are unaware of. Meanwhile, Dorry and Brogy likely know things about Luffy’s past that Jinbe and the others don’t.
The fact that the original East Blue crew members have disappeared together seems to suggest a significant plot development ahead.
Could there be someone on Elbaf who has a connection to the East Blue?
Or perhaps, this has been foreshadowed since the East Blue arc in a way we’ve yet to notice…?
For now, I’m inclined to think that these five members possess something unique that sets them apart from the rest of the crew.
Luffy is the reincarnation of Joy Boy, the Sun God Nika. Zoro is likely a descendant of Ryuma. Sanji is a prince of Germa, the rulers of the North Blue.
Nami might also have some special background that we haven’t yet learned, and if that’s the case, then Usopp might also be revealed to be more than meets the eye.
It’s possible that this arc will reveal something about Nami and Usopp’s origins that sets them apart from the rest of the crew.
Usopp’s lineage is already known, and he doesn’t appear to be special in that regard. However, Usopp has a unique trait where the lies he tells often become true.
Perhaps in Elbaf, one of Usopp’s lies will come to life, turning him into something extraordinary.
And if we think back, there was also Vivi, who journeyed with the Straw Hats during the East Blue arc and sailed with them into the Grand Line…
