ONE PIECE Chapter 1127 Latest Info and Theories | What Is Elbaf’s Yggdrasil Tree?
Elbaf’s Yggdrasil Tree
Elbaf is clearly inspired by Norse mythology, so we can expect many elements from Norse legends to appear. It seems that the Yggdrasil tree will be a central figure in the arc, and it’s likely that the enormous tree seen in the distant landscape of Elbaf is indeed this Yggdrasil tree…
I’ve previously written about this, but in Norse mythology, Yggdrasil is a tree that contains nine worlds, including Asgard (the realm of the gods), Midgard (the realm of humans), and Jotunheim (the realm of giants).
Based on this, I personally think Elbaf might also be divided into nine regions, each with slightly different cultures.
In Wano, there’s the Flower Capital, Kuri, Udon, Hakumai, Ringo, and Kibi—five regions in total.
Similarly, I believe Elbaf could have multiple regions, each with its own unique culture.
The village where young Linlin (Big Mom) lived was mostly made of wooden houses, but in Chapter 1127, it seems there’s a village made entirely of Lego blocks.
This difference in architecture suggests that there may be cultural differences between different parts of Elbaf.
If Elbaf does have cultural differences, it’s possible that the giants of Elbaf are divided into multiple tribes, each governed by its own leader or king.
Hajrudin mentioned that his dream is to become the king of all giants, which might mean that he aspires to unite all the tribes.
If that’s the case, it’s possible that Elbaf’s political structure is complex, with each tribe having its own king.
There might be some tribes that welcome Luffy and his crew, while others oppose them.
Perhaps the tribe living in the Lego-built village doesn’t welcome Luffy and his crew…?Additionally, the fact that the giants undergo combat training from a young age could be connected to these tribal divisions.
If that’s the case, Luffy and his crew, who seem to be welcomed by some tribes like Dorry and Brogy, might end up getting involved in some kind of conflict in Elbaf…
