In ONE PIECE Chapter 1126, there’s a scene where Yasopp snipes the Bartholomeo Club’s ship with a single rifle shot, sinking it in one hit—a display of unbelievable power!
I’d like to explore this topic in more depth.

Is Yasopp’s Sniping Really Hakoku-Level?

In Chapter 1126, Bartolomeo and the Bartholomeo Club are captured by the Red Hair Pirates after they caused trouble in Shanks’ territory. Ultimately, their ship is sunk, and the one who delivers the final blow is none other than Yasopp!

Yasopp, casually humming a tune, fires a single shot with his rifle, and with just that one bullet, the Bartholomeo Club’s ship explodes and sinks.

It’s hard to believe that a single rifle bullet could have such destructive power, so it’s likely that Yasopp infused his bullet with Haki before firing.

It’s possible the bullet was something special, like Usopp’s Pop Greens, but it’s hard to imagine a rifle bullet packing such immense firepower. Even if Yasopp used his advanced Observation Haki to detect a highly volatile material aboard the Bartholomeo Club’s ship, it seems unlikely that they were carrying anything that dangerous.

The most plausible explanation is that Yasopp used Haki-infused bullets. If that’s the case, it means Yasopp isn’t just a master of Observation Haki—his Armament Haki must be incredibly advanced as well.

When it comes to destroying ships in one shot, we’ve recently seen the giants Dorry and Brogy use their combined technique, ‘Hakoku,’ to destroy Kid’s ship. Similarly, Blackbeard used the power of the Gura Gura no Mi to sink the Heart Pirates’ submarine.

Yasopp’s sniping could be on the same level as the combined strength of Dorry and Brogy’s Hakoku, a technique used by two of the strongest giants.

If Yasopp’s bullets aren’t special in any way, then the raw output of his Haki is nothing short of extraordinary. What’s more frightening is that it doesn’t even seem like he was putting his all into that shot.

After seeing Shanks’ power begin to emerge recently, it’s no surprise that the Marines were terrified when the Red Hair Pirates intervened at Marineford. If someone like Yasopp, who is likely ranked below the top three in the crew, can nonchalantly unleash such devastating power, it’s easy to understand why the Marines were so intimidated.

This raises the question: are bullets in the ONE PIECE world truly as powerful as they seem?
