The Future Where the Celestial Dragons Abandon the World | What Kind of World Does Imu Desire?
What Kind of World Does Imu Desire?
If both the ancient world and the current world are to sink, it would likely be Imu pulling the strings.
If Imu was the one who sank the ancient world 800 years ago, it suggests that Imu and the First 20 sacrificed the world to become gods.
However, while they may possess the power to destroy and eliminate, they don’t seem to have the ability to create.
Although they are called the creators of the World Government, it seems more accurate to say they manipulated the survivors of the world’s destruction, convincing them that uniting to rebuild the world was the only option. Thus, they can’t be said to have truly “created” anything.
In fact, they’re currently trying to erase history, and the only things they’ve produced in 800 years are weapons of destruction.
So, what kind of world does a god incapable of creation desire?
As I’ve mentioned before, Imu seems to have an overwhelming fear of death. Despite undergoing the Immortality Surgery and possessing great strength, this fear suggests a deep desire not to die.
Imu’s fear of Joy Boy seems to stem from the belief that Joy Boy alone could bring about Imu’s death.
Imu likely desires to rule the world eternally, living forever like a god. The potential sinking of the world would be insignificant compared to achieving eternal life and absolute control.
Perhaps Imu doesn’t even desire the existence of the FIVE ELDERS or other Celestial Dragons. If possible, Imu might even be content ruling alone.
However, even as a god, Imu would need others to sustain their rule. Living completely alone would be impossible, as they would have to do everything themselves.
If Imu harbors such thoughts, it would explain their willingness to continue eliminating what they deem unnecessary and even sink the world entirely…
