The Future Where the Celestial Dragons Abandon the World | Would They Be Unaffected by a Sinking World?
Would They Be Unaffected by a Sinking World?
If the Celestial Dragons truly plan to abandon the world, one must wonder—would this not be detrimental to their own survival?
In Chapter 1125, we see that the Revolutionary Army’s efforts to disrupt supply lines to Mariejois have caused a serious food shortage among the Celestial Dragons.
However, it seems that their suffering is limited to no longer enjoying their luxurious lifestyle.
If the world were to sink, they would likely face even more severe food shortages.
As I’ve mentioned before, the Celestial Dragons would likely prepare for such an event by gathering slaves on the Red Line to produce food for them. In fact, it’s possible they are already making these preparations.
Once construction at places like Tequila Wolf is complete, those slaves would likely continue their labor as part of the Red Line’s society.
The slave population far exceeds that of the Celestial Dragons, which is likely why the World Government continues to strengthen its military forces—to maintain complete control over the slaves.
Everything seems connected. For the Celestial Dragons, the sinking of the world might only present a problem in terms of food, but with the vast land of the Red Line and their advanced technology, they should be able to resolve that.
If the world sinks, it’s likely that the climate will change, but the Red Line—being the highest land in the world—would remain mostly unaffected. Even if they did face challenges, they could overcome them with their technology or by exploiting slave labor.
At present, the Celestial Dragons still need the world to entertain themselves. However, if the world were to turn against them or threaten their dominance, they would consider it “unnecessary.”
But what is their ultimate goal in maintaining power, even if it means sinking the world?
There’s also the possibility that 800 years ago, they sank the ancient world to seize control.
What, then, is Imu’s true desire?
