The Future Where the Celestial Dragons Abandon the World… What Does Imu Really Want?
In ONE PIECE Chapter 1125, the Revolutionary Army hints at the possibility that the Celestial Dragons may intend to abandon the world in the future…
Let’s dive into that in more detail.
Ivankov’s Deduction
In Chapter 1125, the Revolutionary Army discusses the idea that the ancient weapons could cause the world to sink, as explained by Vegapunk. They also mention the possibility that the Celestial Dragons have a plan in mind for such an event.
Sabo points out that the Celestial Dragons already live on the Red Line, a high elevation that would be immune to sinking. Ivankov then offers his own deductions.
Tequila Wolf, located in the East Blue, is a slave nation forced to build a massive bridge for the last 700 years. Ivankov reveals that other similar slave nations—Vodka Wolf, Rum Wolf, and Bourbon Wolf—exist, all being made to construct colossal structures. Ivankov is convinced that this is connected to the possibility of the world sinking.
Indeed, the bridge being built at Tequila Wolf is so enormous that it would likely remain unaffected if the world did sink.
Since Tequila Wolf is in the East, and there are four such nations, it stands to reason that each corresponds to one of the four seas—East Blue, West Blue, South Blue, and North Blue.
We don’t know if the other nations are also building bridges, but the idea of bridges linking the four seas seems plausible.
It’s unclear where the construction of Tequila Wolf’s bridge began or where it will end, but the fact that the Celestial Dragons are having bridges built that would remain standing even if the world sank suggests they are indeed planning to abandon the world in the future.
The Revolutionary Army has begun to realize this. During the Gray Terminal incident in the Kingdom of Goa, Dragon once said, “There is no happiness waiting in a world that has cast aside what it deems unnecessary.”
That incident was driven by the king of Goa, who was mimicking the Celestial Dragons. Therefore, Dragon’s words must have been directed at them.
If the Revolutionary Army’s deductions are correct, the Celestial Dragons’ philosophy is far from sane… But if they intend to abandon the world, what kind of future do they envision for themselves?
