Did the Legendary Iron Giant Awaken with the Drums of Liberation? | A Reunion with Joy Boy
A Reunion with Joy Boy
Zunesha was overjoyed and said, “Joy Boy has returned!” when Luffy awakened his powers.
I imagine the ancient robot will have a similar reaction.
Luffy was asked by Dorry and Broggy about his Gear 5 form, but Luffy himself still doesn’t fully understand that his ability is tied to the Sun God Nika.
If the ancient robot calls Luffy “Joy Boy,” Luffy would probably respond with something like, “I’m Luffy! Monkey D. Luffy! I’m going to be the Pirate King! That doesn’t sound like a fun name to me!”
However, just like Zunesha quickly realized that Luffy wasn’t Joy Boy but a kind of reincarnation, the ancient robot might similarly recognize Luffy’s importance.
Zunesha couldn’t help but have high expectations for Luffy, and I think the ancient robot will feel the same way.
Upon seeing Luffy with the straw hat, the ancient robot might feel like it has finally completed its mission and be freed from the burden of its apology to Joy Boy.
Perhaps it will even ask Luffy, “What do you want to do now?”
Since Luffy’s immediate goal is to escape Egghead Island, he might answer accordingly.
The ancient robot, expecting a grander answer about Luffy’s desire to become the Pirate King, might be surprised but will probably still offer its help.
I think the ancient robot is likely a very serious character, but at the same time, it would probably feel drawn to Luffy’s charm, just as it must have loved the free-spirited nature of Joy Boy.
Given the sheer strength Zunesha has displayed, the ancient robot is undoubtedly immensely powerful as well, and I can’t wait to see it in action!
That’s all for this article.
Thank you very much for reading until the end!
