How Does Dragon View the World Government? | A World Government Without the Celestial Dragons
A World Government Without the Celestial Dragons
The World Government has existed for 800 years, and dismantling it now would likely plunge the world into chaos, as mentioned earlier, which wouldn’t be a positive outcome.
It seems more beneficial to topple the Celestial Dragons from their positions of power while leaving the World Government intact.
However, the World Government’s long-standing policy of not recognizing the human rights of non-member nations is a major issue that has persisted for centuries.
Many nations have likely remained non-members simply because they cannot afford to pay the Heavenly Tribute.
If the World Government is to change, it should allow these non-member nations to join, and wealthier countries should provide aid to help them develop, similar to how the United Nations functions in the real world.
Otherwise, removing the Celestial Dragons won’t address the underlying problems.
The ideal expressed by Mother Carmel—that all races should join hands and laugh together—must become a widespread philosophy if the world is to truly change.
If the Revolutionary Army aims to reshape the world, they have an obligation to shift from simply eliminating what’s unnecessary to preventing the creation of what’s unnecessary in the first place.
In many ways, spreading this new ideology throughout the world may be a more difficult task than overthrowing the Celestial Dragons.
Even if they succeed in toppling the Celestial Dragons, simply saying, “We’ve removed the nuisance, now do as you please,” would be irresponsible. Dragon isn’t likely to hold such a view.
I believe Dragon’s vision is to not only overthrow the Celestial Dragons but also to change the world ideologically.
But even if the Celestial Dragons are defeated, what will happen to them afterward? Surely, they can’t all be killed.
