Can Haki Be Scientifically Explained? ~ Vegapunk’s Survival and Advanced Civilizations ~
In ONE PIECE Chapter 1124, it was revealed that Vegapunk is not dead, meaning his inventions may continue to be useful in the future…
This time, I’ll write about that!
Vegapunk’s Survival
As I’ve written in previous articles, as long as Punk Records is intact, Vegapunk’s consciousness, including his ego and memory, can remain in this world.
I’m very curious about the state of his life or soul, but personally, I think this issue might be related to the transmission of Devil Fruit abilities.
If Vegapunk continues to live only through Punk Records, then the Nomi Nomi no Mi (Brain-Brain Fruit) might have some influence on this as well.
It’s highly possible that Vegapunk has already uncovered the secrets of life and the soul, considering he’s studied cloning, memory manipulation, and even how to make objects “eat” Devil Fruits—fields all linked to the study of life and the soul.
This reminds me of the concept of Haki in Wano, particularly the term “Ryuo” (Flowing Sakura).
Personally, I interpret Ryuo as a concept likening life and the soul to cherry blossom petals flowing through the bloodstream.
In that sense, life and the soul might exist as invisible and unmeasurable elements within blood, akin to dark energy or dark matter that fills the universe.
Since Punk Records is Vegapunk’s brain, it seems likely that his life or soul still resides there, perhaps carried by his “blood.”
Haki, something every human possesses, may ultimately be life force or the energy emitted directly by the soul.
We saw the immense power of Joy Boy’s Haki, and although Joy Boy is an extremely unique case, it’s clear that Haki can produce incredible energy, which has a profound influence on others but is harmless to nature. Since it is generated by humans, Haki is essentially limitless.
If that’s the case, it wouldn’t be surprising if Vegapunk had been intrigued by Haki, but so far, he hasn’t mentioned it…
